Waste Not Textile Workshop
make a quilted artwork
Thursday 22 May 2025
Join quilter Catherine-Marie Longtin for a day of mindful hand stitching, during which you will create a mini quilted artwork. You will use fabric remnants from clothes and quilt making, and are invited to bring a piece of cloth that is meaningful to you: a baby’s garment, a well-worn shirt, an embroidered handkerchief.
The workshop will cover all the steps involved in making a quilt, along with a few patchwork techniques.
About the teacher:

Her designs channel her lifelong love of textiles, colour and minimalist abstract art.
