Join us for a larger-than-life Baroque disco extravaganza. Birmingham’s Fatt Projects take over the galleries to explore themes of body adornment and identity.

Led by iconic Drag Queen Fatt Butcher, enjoy walkabout drag performers, singing, dancing and workshops exploring symbols, portraits and identity. DJ Moon Odyssey performs an eclectic mix of smooth sounds in the café and there will be VR experiences in the ground floor galleries.

Fatt Projects

Fatt Projects is a Birmingham based queer performance company making  shows, parties, performances, events, and juicy creative bits focused on advancing queer joy. They are the creators of cult musical theatre cabaret series ‘Send In The Clowns’, produced MOBILISE (Birmingham’s accessible sober queer dance party), and have created unforgettable performance and events for festivals and events across the UK including the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games and Latitude Festival.

Mr. Moon

Mr. Moon has performed at BOOMTOWN festival, hosts a regular night in Bristol, has been featured on DJ Sappo’s BBC Radio 1xtra’s dnb show in  Manchester and as DJ Chaand he also has had shows on Distinct FM, UrbanUK, Birmingham University’s Radio Burn FM as well as presenting his own show on youth radio as a teen.
