Geraldine Collinge, Chief Executive Officer
Geraldine (she/her) is CEO of Compton Verney a role she is very proud to hold. Prior to this she spent twelve years as a Director at the Royal Shakespeare Company, changing the RSC’s relationship with artists, audiences and the community. She is particularly pleased of having led the £4.5m Swan Wing capital project and a series of events to mark the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death. Earlier in her career she led Apples and Snakes performance poetry and she started her career at Battersea Arts Centre progressing from Assistant to the Director to Programme Manager.
David Guilding, Chief Operating Officer
David began his career in the performing arts, as an actor, educator, and venue manager, and worked all over the country before settling in Warwickshire in 2012.
He then led Warwick District Council’s arts and heritage services for more than a decade, making an impact on the strategic development of the region’s creative sector and supporting a range of arts organisations. He and his team forged a reputation for delivering high quality activities in several of Leamington’s renowned cultural venues.
David is now Chief Operating Officer at Compton Verney art gallery and manages the daily business operation. He is proud to be part of the leadership team at such an exciting time in the gallery’s journey.
Tom Williams, Development Director
Tom has been the Development Director at Compton Verney since 2021. Previously he has held fundraising positions at the University of Oxford and Rugby School.
Abigail Viner, Director of Creative Programmes and Engagement
Abigail Viner is Director of Creative Programming and Engagement at Compton Verney and is a curator, arts programmer and project manager with extensive experience of working within the visual arts and wider cultural sector.
She has held senior positions at University of the Arts London, London Borough of Culture 2019 and London Borough of Waltham Forest.
Abigail has worked at Compton Verney for the past three years heading up Exhibitions, Collections, Learning and Engagement and Landscape.
