The coming of Storm Bert means that strong winds are forecast this weekend.

For the safety of all visitors, we’ll be closing areas of our grounds on Saturday and Sunday. The house and exhibitions remain fully open.

Story

Connecting people with art, nature and creativity

A young girl in a black coat wearing headphones looks at a historical artefact in a glass case in a blue art gallery. The item looks like a religious scene made from bronze and red coral.

Governance at Compton Verney

Compton Verney is governed by a Board of Trustees. The Board of Trustees determines policy and, together with senior staff at Compton Verney, sets the strategic direction of Compton Verney. It oversees the management of the gallery, with the Trustees acting as guardians of the public interest.

The Board decides on resource allocations, it represents Compton Verney externally, and monitors the organisation’s performance against agreed objectives.
