After Hours

Friday 9 August 2024
6pm

Our next After Hours event explores the spirit of play inside us all.

With plenty to explore, exhibitions to visit and great food on the menu in our Restaurant, you’ll find all you need for a great evening out at Compton Verney.

We invite you to jump on outdoor inflatable structures with Ringworld and run away with the Flying Seagulls Circus to learn new skills or laugh out loud in their children’s comedy corner. Pick up a silent disco headset and explore the exhibitions at night. Or join curators and artists, including Permindar Kaur whose work features in Sculpture in the Park, and Chloe Wing of A Spirit Inside talking about why expressing the spirit is so important.

End the evening with music from the Electro Swing Project beneath our grand Wellingtonia Avenue surrounded by 19th-century Redwoods.

Art  on the Brain
The image shows a woman with short black hair wearing a gray sweater or jacket, looking off to the side with a contemplative or thoughtful expression. She has earrings with turquoise-coloured gemstones and appears to be wearing some kind of technological headset. The background appears to be a painting.
