How Gift Aid helps Compton Verney

Did you know that Compton Verney is a charity? We depend on the generosity of our visitors to continue to stage exceptional exhibitions, provide excellent educational activities and maintain our collection, historic mansion and grounds.

If you are a UK tax payer and give a minimum of an extra 10% per ticket through the Gift Aid scheme, Compton Verney can reclaim the tax you have already paid on the earnings used to buy your ticket.  By donating the additional sum, you enable Compton Verney to claim Gift Aid on the full value of your ticket, as well as the donation. This means we gain an extra 25 pence for every £1 you spend, helping us to provide more at Compton Verney and continue to share our passion for art with future generations. To support Compton Verney in this way, please chose the Gift Aid price and show your agreement by signing the Gift Aid declaration form.

Thank you.

Why is Gift Aid so valuable to Compton Verney

It costs more than £2 million a year to look after the gallery, collections and grounds and provide a changing programme of exhibitions, events and learning programmes. As an independent gallery and registered charity we do not receive any regular government funding so we rely on the income from our visitors to cover a large part of these costs.

By choosing to pay Gift Aid admission you are helping to support us.  In 2011 Gift Aid admission provided our charity with an additional £86,000 worth of income.

Thank you for your support.

Please note: If purchasing more than one ticket at the Gift Aid price, the additional tickets must be for family members. For non family members, please choose ticket prices that do not include an additional gift aid donation.
