We aim to be fully accessible to disabled visitors. Assistance dogs are welcome.
Accessible parking
There is disabled car-parking in the main car-park if you wish to park and enjoy our wheelchair friendly footpaths.
For visiting the gallery, there are a limited number of spaces in the courtyard for blue badge holders. You are also welcome to drop off visitors at the front door.
Access in the gallery
The main entrance is ramped and there are level floors throughout. Within the gallery there is a lift to all floors making them fully accessible to wheelchair users. Portable seating and wheelchairs can be borrowed free of charge from the Information Desk upon arrival (subject to availability).
There are fixed hearing loops in both the Ticketing Lodge and in the Shop. Visitors can make use of this facility by switching their hearing aids to the ‘T’ position. A portable induction loop is available for use in the Coffee Bar and Cafe. Please ask a member of staff if you wish to use this facility.
Accessible toilets are available on all floors.
Large print guides are available in the galleries, please ask our gallery staff if you'd like to refer to one.
An audio guide of the grounds is available free of charge. Please ask at the Ticket Lodge.

Our staff
All of our front of house staff have completed disability awareness training as part of their induction and are on hand to help. Some of them have also been trained as audio-described interpreters.
Café and Coffee Bar
The waitress-serviced café and sefl-service coffee bar located on the ground floor. They are both fully accessible for wheelchair users. Our staff are very happy to help if you need assistance. Large print versions of the menu are available upon request.
Carers' Entry
Carers’ entrance is free when escorting.
Group visits
For pre-booked groups arriving by coach, we offer a free shuttle service from the main car park to the gallery. Please let us know approximate numbers when booking. Find out more about group visits to Compton Verney.
