Further and higher education
Compton Verney is an ideal venue for students studying at Further or Higher Education Level, with three designated resource areas and a range of talks, tours and workshops on offer.
Talks and tours
We offer a variety of talks and tours relating to our exhibitions and collections. Students will have access to a dedicated learning room and sketching materials.
Students will have a guided tour of the current exhibition or collections and have the opportunity to sketch followed by working with a life model, in a taught practical drawing class.
Maximum of 12 students per day.
This includes admission to the exhibition, life model and materials. There is a set charge of £180.
The Learning Team can design a day of practical activities individually to match your topic or module work. This includes admission to the exhibition, a tour and materials. A separate planning charge of £130 applies.
PhD and MA students can arrange visits to our permanent collections and temporary exhibitions where they will have the opportunity to use our research facilities. You need to book this in advance. Please note there is a small charge/deposit made for accessing this material.
