The coming of Storm Bert means that strong winds are forecast this weekend.

For the safety of all visitors, we’ll be closing areas of our grounds on Saturday and Sunday. The house and exhibitions remain fully open.

Walk along our trails and immerse yourself in the wildlife of the Ice House Coppice, or take a wander around our meadows.

Head to the Sensory Dye Garden and see the display of flowers, herbs and fruit. Discover the surprising plants that can be used to dye your clothes .

Spot birds on the lake from our bird hide.

Swing by the bee hives on the West Lawn and play in the sandpit.

Bring your own nets and pop by the pond dipping platform.

Climb, swing and zip through the air at our Woodland Playground.
